COLUMBUS, Ohio – One person was killed Saturday afternoon in a shooting in southeast Columbus, according to Columbus Police Dept.

Police were called to the 1800 block of Lockbourne Road at 3:46 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, law enforcement found the victim on the back porch of the building.

The victim, described as male, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:55 p.m.

No suspect information has been released at this time.

The Columbus Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
