COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 25-year-old woman was killed in a shooting in the Central Hilltop neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Officers were called to the area of ​​Floral Avenue and Belvidere Avenue on a report of shots fired at 1:40 a.m.

While en route to the area, officers received additional calls about a shooting at a home in the 100 block of Belvidere Avenue.

Upon arrival, Columbus Police found Jamika Ann Tashawna Summerville suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in non-life-threatening condition. She died at the hospital around 2:15 am

Police said no arrests were made. There was no additional information.
