COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Madison County early Saturday morning, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Interstate 70 near Gwinn Road in Somerford Township at approximately 7:35 a.m. James Lega, 46, of Pennsylvania, was driving a Ford Mustang westbound on I-70 when it went off the right side of the road.
When leaving the road, he hit a fence and a concrete wall. His vehicle came to rest under the Gwynne Road flyover.
Lego was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to OSHP.
According to patrolmen, speed was the cause of the accident.
