WAPAKONETA – The Auglais County Department of Health will hold a car seat class at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Defiance St. 813, Wapakoneta.
If you need a car seat, contact ACHD at 419-738-3410 to determine eligibility. Relevant individuals will be added to the class. Available car seats are convertible car seats and boosters. The resulting seat depends on the age, height and weight of the child.
The car seat program, run by a certified child safety technician, helps parents and caregivers understand how to prevent unintentional injuries in and around cars, including installing a car seat and inspecting car seats.
