CLEVELAND — A south Norfolk employee was killed Tuesday morning in a crash involving a train and a dump truck in northeast Ohio.

The accident occurred on the Norfolk Southern Rail Line, which runs through the Cleveland Cliffs property in Cleveland’s Industrial Valley.

This is reported by 3News that the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as Louis Schuster, 46, of Broadview Heights.

Additional information about the crash was not immediately available.

South Norfolk has been in the headlines since the Feb. 3 toxic train derailment in East Palestine and the derailment near Dayton in Clark County.

The company released a six-point plan this week to “immediately improve the safety of its operations” after the National Transportation Safety Board released a preliminary report on the incident.
