MAUMEE, Ohio — A truck and a car crashed into each other Wednesday morning, causing damage to both.
Police were called around 2 a.m. to a car-vehicle crash on southbound I-475 near US 24 and Monclova Road. The crash left the car damaged and the semi trailer is currently hanging on the shoulder of I-475 southbound.
The southbound side of I-475 in Maumee is currently closed.
At the moment, there is no information about the victims.
This location on I 475 at US 24 in Maumee has had several accidents this year alone.
One involved an Amazon semi truck that caught fire, causing a bumper-to-bumper traffic stop, and the other involved another semi truck that also caught fire. Both of these accidents happened in January.
