COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 16-year-old boy was killed and three others were injured in a crash of two cars east of Columbus on Friday night, said Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Geiter.
The crash happened around 9:20 p.m. on East Broad Street and Broad Point Place.
Three of them were taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital, where, according to Geiter, the teenager died.
One person was in critical condition, another person was described as stable.
Another person was taken to the national children’s hospital, his condition is assessed as stable.
Officials have not established the identity of the teenager who died in the crash.
Both directions on East Broad Street were initially closed after the crash, but have since reopened.
