Apple has released two new Pride Edition bracelets for the Apple Watch to mark the month of Pride, which usually falls in June. Two new groups were launched in support of the global LGBTQ community. Apple has also released Dynamic Pride dials to pair with the new Pride color bars. Apple is also launching a new Shot on iPhone pride campaign on Instagram, which reflects the essence of artists and activists of the global LGBTQ + community.

The band Pride Edition Sport Loop demonstrates a color gradient with the word “pride” woven directly into the strip. Using an adjustable Sport Loop design for Apple Watch Apple used a new technique to remove several two-layer nylon textile loops on the ban to reveal the word “honor” in cursive style, inspired by the original “hello” – shown on the first Macintosh in 1984 – giving the word novel, three-dimensional look and feel.

Apple said it has developed a color gradient that includes original rainbow colors with colors of various flags of honor, including light blue, pink and white, representing transgender and gender-inappropriate individuals, and black and brown, symbolizing communities of blacks and Latinos. Colors also represent those who live with or died of HIV / AIDS.

In addition, the company has also launched the Pride Threads dial. The design of the dial is inspired by several flags of honor. It combines different colors to represent the strength and mutual support of the LGBTQ + movement. Reflecting the woven Sport Loop loops, each thread of bright thread contributes to the overall composition of the dial. The multicolored threads move when the digital crown on the Apple Watch is rotated, pressed onto the display, or the user’s wrist is lifted. Apple also includes a new App Clip feature in the package to provide an easy and convenient way to instantly access the new matching dial.

In addition, a new edition of the Nike Sport Loop Pride Edition has been released, which covers the entire spectrum of the rainbow and has the corresponding Nike Bounce face in the color of the rainbow that accompanies the new band. Together with the Nike Be True collection, Sport Loop honors people who expand the sport for future generations and inspire others to experience the joy of being true to themselves.

Apple has also launched a new campaign, Shot on iPhone Pride, which will showcase images of a famous group of creatives celebrating modern queer pioneers in places of historical significance to the LGBTQ + movement. Photos from the company will be posted on Apple’s website and on social media during the month of honor (June 2022).
