TALEDA, Ohio – Chris Wormley is returning home to northwest Ohio to host his first-ever youth football camp.

The camp will take place in the alma mater of Wormley Whitmer High School on Saturday 11 June and will be open from 9.00 to 13.00, arrival from 8.00 to 9.00

The event is free but limited to 180 participants, registration opens Monday, May 16, at 9 p.m.

For Wormley, it’s all about giving back to the community that raised him.

“Toledo, Ohio, or rather the Whitmer community has given me so much,” he said. “Not only the opportunity to play sports at Whitmer for so long, but just support. Every time I come back to town, I feel that support, I feel that love.”

“I’m excited to be able to give a group of kids a day, see the smiles on their faces and see how great they are spending time for a few hours on Saturday, an opportunity,” Wormley said.
