LIMA – After a two-year break, the gala representation of the season returned to the Veterans Memorial Public and Conference Center. Acts booked for the 2022-23 season were shown to the audience along with good food and entertainment.

Beth Keane, president of the Board of Trustees of the Public and Veterans Conference Center, addressed the crowd and shared the true purpose of the facility. “The Veterans Memorial and Conference Center commemorates the service of all veterans of the United States Armed Forces. He forever recognizes the military from Allen County who made the latest sacrifice. We all owe them forever. It also serves as our county convention center and performing arts center. This is a prime example for Allen County of what citizens who are committed and action-oriented can do when we all come together. ”

The last live tour was on March 9, 2020. Covid ordered the dismissal of nearly half of the staff. But those who remained were determined to keep the facility safe for society. Physical improvements were made during downtime at the facility. Improved lighting, stage floor and audiovisual improvements throughout the facility.

A number of performances are planned for the 2022-2023 season. In addition to the series, there will be six shows on the Broadway subscription. On October 9, the series “Broadway Subscription” begins with Anastasia. The hairspray will appear on November 6th. My beautiful lady will decorate the stage on March 13th. The story of Simon and Garfankel will end with a series on March 23. Subscription tickets will go on sale on May 20.

Individual tickets will be available from June 24. In addition to Broadway shows, six more performances. Contemporary Christian artist Amy Grant will perform on September 16. The live Disney Junior: Costume Palooza tour arrived on Friday, October 7th. The Little River Band will take the stage on October 14th. Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis will perform on Monday, December 19. The next day, December 20, Deck The Halls With Disney featuring D Capella will complete the festive performances. On Sunday, January 29, Dragons & Mythical Beasts take the stage.
