DELAWARE, Ohio – A 62-year-old man died Thursday night in a head-on crash in Delaware County Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
At 10:36 p.m., a 2011 BMW X5 was eastbound on State Route 750 in Liberty Township while a 2000 Ford Mustang was westbound.
OSHP said the Mustang went left of center and hit the BMW head-on.
The driver of the Mustang, identified as Caldwell Richeson III, 62, of Shawnee Hills, died at the scene.
The driver of the BMW was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Liberty Township Fire Department and Shawnee Hills Police Department responded to the scene.
