Dewey’s Pizza to open next to Braxton’s Taproom in Covington | Food news | Cincinnati

As if pizza and beer weren’t already a perfect match, a new restaurant coming to Covington is set to strengthen the relationship.

Braxton Brewing Co. is partnering with Dewey’s Pizza to open a pizzeria in the restaurant space next to the bar. Dewey’s will be located at 43 W. Seventh St. — recently housed the Parlor on Seventh gastropub — and the Braxton Bar is at 27 W. Seventh St.

This Dewey’s restaurant is slated to open in early 2023 and will offer the same pizza, calzone and salad menu that diners have come to love. But now guests can enjoy the pies in the restaurant itself or in the adjacent Braxton Bar.

“We really enjoy giving people a space to escape and have fun. With Dewey’s Pizza as our new neighbors, we believe we will be able to continue to provide a one-of-a-kind grocery store experience to the locals who already know and love this iconic Cincinnati brand,” said Jake Rouse, Co-Founder and CEO of Braxton Brewing Co. , in release. “Establishing them as a restaurant in downtown Covington is a win for the city as a whole. Through our partnership, this upscale restaurant will expand the Covington area and welcome guests from as far as three states.”
