The eagles and Chiefs gathered on Sunday evening at Super Bowl LVII in Arizona. This matchup pits two of the most reliable offenses of the season, and fans are eager to settle this debate once and for all.

Philadelphia scored on the opening drive to take a 7-0 lead, and the Chiefs immediately responded with a touchdown of their own to tie the game.

However, the Eagles took a 14-7 lead early in the second quarter thanks to a 45-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts to star receiver AJ Brown.

CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin before the game wrote that the game “features two of the most effective attacks NFL saw this year, p Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts are going to compete in a battle of MVP candidates. Not only that, but the championship matchup pits Chiefs coach Andy Reid against Philadelphia, the city where he built his NFL career; and Pro Bowl brothers Travis and Jason Kells against each other for a chance to claim a second respective Lombardi trophy.’

The Grammy Award-winning pop star will headline the show Rihanna. Her performance was highly anticipated as it had been almost seven years since she had last performed on stage. She also hasn’t released an album since Anti in 2016.

Grammy-winning country music star Chris Stapleton performed the national anthem before the game, and Grammy-winning R&B artist Babyface performed “America the Beautiful” before kickoff.
