COLUMBUS, Ohio – As the new year approaches, Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Garden takes place in two exhibitions.
On January 21, the conservatory will open its doors to “Orchids” and “El Callar – ES”.
Thousands of orchid flowers will be displayed at the annual orchid show. The exhibit includes four themed vignettes: “Summer Breeze,” “Sweet Treats,” “Bumblebee’s Picnic,” and “A Day at the Beach.”
Visitors will find most of this exhibit in the Dorothy M. Davis Showhouse. It will be available in the gardens until March 12 and is included in the price of admission.
El Color – ES Gallery is new to the conservatory and features artwork by Elena Osterwalder, a Latin American artist from Columbus.
Visitors will be able to see handmade bark installations and hundreds of watercolor tiles painted with flowers and leaves, the conservatory said in a statement.
El Color – ES is at the Cardinal Health Gallery and is included in the price of admission until May 29, 2023.
