NEW YORK — Are you someone who likes to dip fries in a milkshake? Someone who likes a dessert that’s “not too sweet”?
The newest flavor of ice cream from Van Leeuwen may be right up your alley.
The company has teamed up with Hidden Valley to release a limited edition Ranch Dressing flavored ice cream that will be available for a limited time later this month in honor of National Ranch Day.
“The ice cream boasts savory flavors of ranch, including buttermilk, aromatic herbs and a hint of sweetness, creating a delicious treat that pairs perfectly with savory snacks,” the brand said in a press release.
“The Midwest in my DNA just kicked in,” Van Leeuwen teased in an Instagram post Thursday.
Rachel Garrison of Hidden Valley Ranch encouraged ice cream lovers to “top their scoops with crushed pretzels or potato chips for the perfect salty crunch.”
Hidden Valley Ranch Ice Cream is part of Van Leeuwen’s new spring line, among other unique flavors like Sweet Maple Cornbread and Limoncello Cake.
The pints will be sold for $4.98 each at Walmart stores nationwide.

Van Leeuwen is known for its ice cream. They used to release such silly fragrances as Kraft Mac and Cheese and Poupon Gray Mustard to huge success. The cult favorite brand originated in New York and now has 41 stores and is sold in grocery stores nationwide.
