How to watch Charlie Brown’s Halloween for free

WASHINGTON — Until you find it “It’s a Big Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on television this year, anyone can watch the classic Halloween special for free this weekend.

Apple TV+ again make the Peanuts Special available for free viewing from October 28 to 31, 2022.

Back in 2020, Apple TV+ is the new home for everything Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, including holiday favorites. It caused an uproar when viewers learned what it meant specials will not be televised for the first time in decades.

While Halloween 2020 has come and gone without The Great Pumpkin on TV, Apple later teamed up with PBS for ad-free broadcasts A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Last year, all three Peanuts holiday offerings again on PBS. However, this year it will not happen.

PBS confirmed in an email that it does not have the rights to distribute Peanuts specials this year.

So, if you’re looking for “It’s a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” or A Charlie Brown Christmas you will need to apply Apple TV+.

Those without an Apple TV+ subscription will still be able to watch each of the specials for free for a limited time during the holidays.

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” will be available for free from October 28 to 31; “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be available November 23-27; and A Charlie Brown Christmas will be available from December 22-25.

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown premiered on CBS in 1966, then moved to ABC in 2001. where it was published every year until 2020.
