Columbus, Ohio – According to police, two people were hospitalized after two separate crashes on Highway 71 North in northern Columbus.

The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. near Polaris Parkway.

One of the accidents involved a house on a car and a car, leaving two people hospitalized at Riverside Methodist Hospital. One person is in critical condition and police have assessed the condition of another person as stable.

A semi-tractor and a car were injured in the second accident. Police said no one was injured in the crash.

I-71 North between I-270 and Polaris Parkway reopened after being closed for several hours.
