Theodore Roosevelt is best known for preserving America’s natural wonders. In CBS author Mary Calvi’s latest historical fiction novel, If A Poem Could Live and Breathe, she paints a picture of the young Roosevelt through real-life letters to and from his first love, which she believes influenced him in his early years.
