One ticket purchased in Arizona matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night and won a $ 473.1 million Powerball jackpot, lottery officials said.

The winning numbers were the white balls 11, 36, 61, 62 and 68. The Powerball number was 4.

It was not previously known where the ticket was sold in Arizona.

Strong ticket sales pushed the jackpot over previous estimates to $ 473.1 million. The available option is $ 283.3 million.

The ticket holder or holders can choose between an annuity of $ 473.1 million, paid in 30 incremental payments over 29 years, or a lump sum of $ 283.3 million. Both options are before taxes.

One ticket to Indiana did not reach the score: it matched all five white balls, but not the Powereball number. It still costs $ 1 million.

The third Powerball jackpot was won on Wednesday this year. In the January 5 draw, two tickets in California and Wisconsin shared a jackpot of $ 632.6 million – the 7th largest in Powerball history.

The largest was $ 1.586 billion on January 13, 2016, divided into three ticket holders in California, Florida and Tennessee.

Powerball tickets cost $ 2. Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

The odds of winning any prize are 1 to 24.9. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
