Ireland Baldwin welcomes daughter Holland

Model Ireland Baldwin gave birth to her first child.

Baldwin, daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger announced the birth of their daughter Holland with Portuguese musician RAC, whose real name is Andre Alain Anjos, pictured Instagram on Thursday.

In the picture, Baldwin, 27, smiles as she holds her newborn at the hospital next to Anjas.

The photo is simply captioned “Holland”.

Baldwin previously announced the baby’s name will be Holland on an episode of the “Girlboss Radio” podcast.

“We’ll call her Holland,” she said. “I’m Ireland, so a different country name because we wanted to keep it consistent.”

Baldwin also said the name was inspired by actress Holland Taylor, of whom she is a fan.

“I’ve always loved that name since I was young,” Baldwin said. “I just thought it was such a classy, ​​beautiful name.”
