Columbus police say they have information on a possible suspect, but no arrests have been made at this time.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man has died after being shot Saturday morning in south Columbus.

The Columbus Police Dept says officers were called to the 500 block of East Whittier Street for a report of a shooting around 4:40 a.m. Arriving officers found a man who had been shot in the abdomen.

The man was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Doctors later pronounced him dead.

Columbus police say they have information on a possible suspect, but no arrests have been made at this time.

The fatal shooting is one of several crime investigations being conducted by Columbus police Saturday night.

Police say one person died and three others were injured shooting on St. Clair Ave in the South Linden area.

Report on the shooting drew a large attendance by Columbus Police in the Short North Arts District. Police told 10TV that with multiple injuries in the incident, officers are still searching for possible suspects.
