Police said they found the suspect on school grounds after he allegedly tried to enter the school.

TOLEDO, Ohio – Shortly after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Toledo police answered a call from a model school for autism in north Toledo.

According to the report, school officials told police that the man was on school grounds and was trying to enter the building. They also said he had a large knife hanging from his pocket.

While the Autism Model School was on lockdown for safety reasons, police located the suspect in the immediate vicinity. They arrested Monte Prosser, 63, who was carrying a kitchen knife and a loaded firearm.
