MANSFIELD, Ohio – A man accused of shooting and killing a teenager at a Mansfield hotel has been taken into custody in Columbus.

Holland was wanted in connection with the Jan. 3 fatal shooting of 16-year-old Nyshon Lovett.

Police said officers were called to the Quality Inn at 500 North Trimble Road after an employee reported hearing multiple gunshots inside. Officers found Lovett in the stairwell with multiple gunshot wounds.

During the investigation, Holland was identified as a suspect in the shooting and charged with aggravated murder.
