Airplanes aren’t exactly what comes to mind when one thinks of Netflix, but the streaming giant has an aviation division and is looking to grow.
If you have a “passion for aviation and a desire to work on a dream crew,” becoming Netflix’s newest flight attendant might be for you.
By assignment listingposition is located in San Jose, California and requires applicants to work a flexible schedule with a willingness to work holidays, weekends and extended travel, both domestic and international.
“As a Netflix flight attendant, you must embrace our culture,” which Netflix says “places a strong emphasis on freedom and responsibility, with independence and great motivation,” it said.
But it’s the pay scale that may turn heads: Netflix writes that the “general market range” for the position is $60,000 to $385,000 — a diverse range that the company says is based on “total compensation, not just basic salary”.
In accordance with US Bureau of Labor StatisticsAccording to the Career Outlook Guide, the median salary for a flight attendant in 2021 was $61,640 per year, making Netflix’s range potentially well above the national average.
