NOAA releases new action plan to protect Florida’s coral reefs

Florida’s coral reefs are experiencing a multi-year outbreak of stony coral tissue loss disease. It damaged more than 22 species of stony coral in Florida, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Jennifer Koss, director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Coral Reef Protection Program, joined CBS News to discuss the new action plan to protect coral reefs.
