COLUMBUS – The Ohio Chemical Technology Council has awarded Nutrien Lima Nitrogen two awards for excellence.

The first was to use Triax® monitors during the pandemic to help with social distance and track contacts at a plant in Lima. The second award marked “The Nutrien Way” initiative of the entire company to support and maintain a culture of care and excellence in the fields of environment, health, safety and security.

Ohio’s chemical industry employs more than 40,000 direct employees nationwide and contributes more than $ 31 billion to Ohio’s economy. The Outstanding Achievement Awards are given to companies that have demonstrated a commitment to improving health and safety outcomes in their workplace, the environment and the community.
