The regular season finale against That Team Up North will host a traditional noon venue.

Columbus, Ohio – Ohio will open the 2022 season under Ohio Stadium against Notre Dame.

It was officially announced on Tuesday Bakii and Fighting Irish will begin at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 3.

ESPN’s GameDay College will also be held in Columbus at the opening of the season. It will be a record 21st visit to Columbus for GameDay.

Ohio also ranks first among all programs in the total number of appearances on GameDay with 53 and first on GameDay wins with 37.

It was announced on Monday that the annual match with That Team Up North would start again at noon on November 26th.

Additional game time in 2022 is expected to be announced later this month.
