TALEDA, Ohio – A popular car wash in western Toledo was engulfed in flames on Saturday night.

Caress Car Wash on the corner of Sylvania Avenue and Westway Street caught fire around 5 p.m.

Firefighters from the Toledo Fire and Rescue Service say the car caught fire when its owner washed it at a self-service car wash.

The fire then spread with the wind to the building and eventually to the roof.

A fire in Toledo says the building is completely lost and will need to be demolished.

No one was injured in the fire.
