CARRY, Ohio – One person is dead after a shooting in the village of Cary.

Kerry Police responded to a call regarding a shooting at Lindenwood Place around 11:30 pm Saturday.

An arriving officer found the man’s body lying at the intersection of Lindenwood Place and Pine Tree Drive. The police have not released more detailed information about the identity of the deceased. The man was later pronounced dead.

Just minutes later, at 11:41 p.m., the male suspect in the incident arrived at the Cary Police Department and was taken into custody. He was later taken to the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office.

The case is currently under investigation by the Wyandot Criminal Division.
