Troopers said the crash happened on State Route 95 in Montgomery Township shortly before 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

MARION COUNTY, OH – A 32-year-old man is seriously injured after a crash in Marion County Saturday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

According to troopers, Johnny Arthur II, 32, of Larue, Ohio, was driving a 2016 Subaru WRX westbound on State Route 95 in Montgomery Township shortly before 8:00 p.m. when the crash occurred.

Witnesses told the inquest that a black BMW, driven by an unknown person, overtook the Subaru as another vehicle approached. The BMW went into the westbound lane, sending Arthur off the right side of the road.

Arthur’s car hit a driveway embankment, a house, a parked car and a tree before coming to a stop. There is no black BMW left on the spot.

Arthur was taken to Marion General Hospital but was later transferred to Grant Medical Center for further treatment.

OSHP said there may be damage to the right side of a black BMW that fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 740-383-2181.
