OTTAWA COUNTY, OHIO — Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says a woman is safe after being held against her will for most of the day Sunday.
The sheriff’s office says a man with a knife was holding the victim against her will at a home on Toussaint North Rd. in Greytown, Ohio.
Greytown is close to Elliston and Rocky Ridge.
The suspect faces charges of domestic violence, kidnapping, rape and public service violations.
The sheriff’s office says the woman was able to escape and made it to Miller’s Market in Genoa, where she notified authorities.
