COLUMBUS, Ohio. An arrest warrant has been issued against another suspect in connection with the death of Imam Columbus last December.
According to court documents, 22-year-old Isaiah Brown-Miller is accused of murder as a result of death Mohammed Hassan Adam.
Adam, the head of the mosque, was declared missing on December 22, 2021 after he did not come to pick up his child from kindergarten.
Investigators said the last time Adam saw him leave the mosque was in a yellow van. Two days later his body was found in a van near a wooded area near Windsor Avenue.
The autopsy report states that Adam died from multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head. His death was declared murder.
Police had previously arrested him 46-year-old John Wooden Jr. on a charge of murder in the case. When he appeared in court, he was held on $ 2 million bail.
According to Columbus Police Detective Earl Westfal, investigators have identified Wooden as a suspect in the case based on a business transaction he made with Adam.
