Headquarters of Procter & Gamble

According to the Cincinnati Police Department, Procter & Gamble (P&G) offices in downtown Cincinnati were closed on Wednesday, May 18, due to security concerns.

A statement from the CPD said on Tuesday they had received information from Kenton County law enforcement about “security concerns” regarding the location of 1 Procter & Gamble Plaza.

CPD officials say they have offered security details for P&G staff entering the building Wednesday morning; however at 5:30 a.m. P&G decided to close the office that day.

No one has been charged so far. Police say this multi-jurisdiction is still ongoing and more information has not been released.

It is unclear when the P&G offices in the city center will open.

CityBeat will provide updates as more information becomes available.
