In an effort to strengthen its position in the Indian smartphone market, Realme has expanded its line of budget smartphones with the release of the Realme Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G smartphones. The Realme Narzo 50 series is the successor to the Realme Narzo 30 series, which was launched last year.

The new Narzo 50 line of devices is based on Mediatek chipsets and sports displays that support a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The Realme Narzo 50 5G has a 6.6-inch FullHD + display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, potential customers received a Mediatek Dimensity 810 5G chipset. The device runs Realme 3.0 out of the box, which is based on Android 12, and should soon receive an update to Android 13.

As for the cameras, Realme gave the Narzo 50 5G a dual camera mounted at the rear, with a main image of 48 MP and a second – 2 MP. For the frontal selfie camera, the device received an 8-megapixel camera.

The price of Realme Narzo 50 5G was very competitive. Option 4 GB + 64 GB costs 15,999 rupees, 4 GB + 128 GB – 16,999 rupees and 6 GB + 128 GB – 17,999 rupees. Realme also has an introductory flat discount offer of Rs 2,000 when they pay with HDFC debit or credit cards, which reduces the price to Rs 13,999, Rs 14,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively for the respective options. The devices will be available from May 24.

The Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G has a 6.4-inch FullHD + AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, potential customers received a Mediatek Dimensity 920 5G chipset. The device runs Realme 3.0 out of the box, which is based on Android 12, and should soon receive an update to Android 13.

As for the cameras, Realme gave the Narzo 50 Pro 5G a triple camera mounted on the rear panel, with the main shot being a 48-megapixel unit, combined with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel second macroblock. For the frontal selfie camera, the device received a 16-megapixel camera.

The price of the Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G was also very competitive, as was the Narzo 50. The 6GB + 128GB unit costs 21,999 rupees and the 8GB + 128GB unit costs 23,999 rupees. Realme has also expanded the discounts on the Pro line, so the effective price is Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively. The devices will be available from May 26.

The devices in the line are powered by a huge battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which supports a powerful charge Realme Dart Charge 33 watts, and comes with a power saving mode Smart 5G.
