William Close and The Earth Harf

William Close and The Earth Harp Collective will perform at The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, 200 W. Main Cross St., Findlay. The harmonious sounds of the harp of the Earth, entered in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s largest stringed instrument that can be played, fill the air when the Center becomes part of the harp. Long strings are built into the architecture itself, making each performance a little different.

Concert band in the Lima area

The Lima Area Concert Band begins its 2022 season with “Wondrous Winds and Precious Percussion”. Tickets cost $ 15 through bit.ly/3L667gT or at the Vons Jewelry and Civic Center box office. These 70 volunteer musicians share their love of music at these events. Saturday’s show features trumpeter Wayne Bergeron, a Yamaha performer and a Concord recording performer from Los Angeles. A total eclipse

The Schoonover Observatory will be open for visits from 9pm Sunday to Monday morning to see a total lunar eclipse with members of the Lima Astronomical Society. The total eclipse is expected to begin at 21:32, peak at 00:11 and end at 00:54. and view on a 60-inch monitor in the conference room below. If desired, visitors can also look through a telescope. If clouds or rain interfere with viewing, an eclipse will still be visible on the monitor through a remote viewing location somewhere where the sky is clear. Admission is free.

The American Red Cross encourages everyone to respond to the call and donate blood during the bleeding in Augleis County “Battle of the Badges” at Beckwith Hall, 504 Glynwood Road, Wapakoneta. The event, organized by the First United Methodist Church, will be attended by first aid staff in an attempt to “Return to the Blue.” Residents are urged to support their favorite law enforcement officer.
