Several people were injured at Gaylord Rockies Resort in Aurora, Colo., on Saturday when a mechanical structure collapsed in the pool area This is reported by CBS News Colorado.
Six people were injured, the Aurora fire department reported on social networks. Two of those people were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, the fire department said.
A witness told CBS News Colorado that someone set off a smoke alarm and the hotel was evacuated. A witness said the equipment that fell onto the pool deck looked like a channel. A witness said they saw the child being treated on the pool deck after the collapse.
