A study conducted by sports book Betway found that Cleveland Browns Stadium is the third best stadium for marriage proposals.
CLEVELAND — As the weather warms, wedding season begins Northeast Ohio on us.
But if you want to propose to your soulmate, you can wait until this autumn and do it in Cleveland Browns Stadium.
On Thursday, sports book Betway released a study of the top 10 NFL stadiums for marriage proposals. And you didn’t have to look far to find Cleveland: The Cleveland Browns’ stadium ranks third behind the Jacksonville Jaguars’ TIAA Bank Stadium and the Detroit Lions’ Ford Field.
The study took into account the costs of several stadium amenities, including a romantic meal, stadium parking, tickets, short-term rentals and scoreboard messages. Overall, the study found that the average Cleveland Browns stadium proposal would cost $454.45.
The entire top 10 in the Betway study is as follows:
- TIAA Bank Stadium (Jacksonville Jaguars)
- Ford Field (Detroit Lions)
- Cleveland Browns Stadium
- Sawham Stadium (Arizona Cardinals)
- US Bank Stadium (Minnesota Vikings)
- M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore Ravens)
- Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis Colts)
- Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta Falcons)
- Akrisur Stadium (Pittsburgh Steelers)
- Empower Field at Mile High (Denver Broncos)
As for the most expensive stadium to propose in, the study found that it costs $2,008.42 to put your proposal on the video board at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. The study also noted that the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals don’t allow fan ads on their respective scoreboards — though that shouldn’t stop you from bidding on your seats if you want.
