Samsung provides Google Assistant support for the Galaxy Watch 4 SmartWatch

All of you who bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch can now use Google Assistant to wear. Samsung has confirmed this in about 10 markets Google Voice Assistant will be available to various voice commands on their wrists.

Samsung started working with Google on smart watches and Wear OS last year. And the new integration is another sign of a thriving partnership between the companies. Samsung has already said that support for Google Assistant will come on its smartwatch, specifically the Galaxy Watch 4, and other wearable Samsung devices in the future may benefit from further integration.

Samsung Mobile has confirmed that as of May 24, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 users in ten countries such as Australia, France, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Korea and the US, among others. Not included in the list India so you may have to wait a little longer to use Google Now on your smartwatch.

Samsung says Galaxy Watch 4 users in these aforementioned countries can switch to the Play Store for smart watches and download the Google Assistant feature for quick commands.

The company has a small advertisement about a new feature where you can see that a person can control music playback, request quick inquiries from Google Assistant and use Galaxy Watch 4 for payments. All these features and other features that will appear in the future make the Galaxy Watch 4 a literate smartwatch. Samsung is using the Wear OS platform on its own smartwatch, which could mean the end of Bixby as the default voice assistant in the near future.

But that’s not all, Google is launching its own Pixel Watch later this year, which may also offer a similar feature set for the user. It is expected that the Pixel Watch will also support NFC and cellular connectivity, which can open the device for wrist payments and even receive voice calls.
