Starlink technical billionaire Ilona Maska, a satellite division of his rocket company SpaceX, has announced a new product designed specifically for residents of recreational vehicles. The company said Starlink for RVs is ideal for customers traveling to a place where communication was unreliable or completely unavailable. However, it mentioned that Starlink for motorhomes is not intended for use while driving.

“Starlink for vans can be used anywhere Starlink provides services and is ideal for camping and other activities in rural or remote locations where Internet access has been unreliable or completely inaccessible. ” SpaceXt wrote on Twitter.

The company also noted that the new service allows you to suspend and cancel the service at any time and is exhibited in increments of one month, allowing users to customize their services to suit their individual travel needs. A clear view of the sky is required to connect.

“Starlink is now available for vans, campers and other users of large vehicles (note, the antenna is too large for cars),” Musk wrote on Twitter.

This month, Starlink announced that it is available in 32 countries, compared to 25 countries reported earlier this year. It provides high speed broadband internet with low latency worldwide. It has more than 2,550 users worldwide.

The company shared on Twitter an accessibility map that shows where its services are “available” across Europe and North America, as well as parts of South America, Australia and New Zealand. He also announced that he would “immediately” send his services to these areas.
