The April 29 gala will be held at the Glass City Center in downtown Toledo.

TOLEDO, OH – Susan G. Komen in Northwest Ohio is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a gala concert “Paint the Town Pink” on April 29.

The gala, which will be held at the Glass City Center in downtown Toledo, allows the Susan G. Komen Foundation to invest in research into the treatment and prevention of breast cancer, organizers said in an invitation to the event. They also said the support would help the organization “remove unfair barriers to quality care and provide patients with direct support in their treatment.”

The event includes a cocktail hour followed by dinner and a program of inspirational stories. After dinner, the event will feature music by the Bluewater Kings Band, dancing and complimentary wine and a thank-you gift.

According to the invitation, the dress code is cocktail party attire; in event site lists the dress code as black tie (preferably pink) if desired.

A single ticket to the event costs $150. To purchase tickets, click here.
