“She is incredible,” Robidas wrote. – We decided to attack her diagnosis with blind optimism. We only talked about the future and kept moving forward. I don’t know if it was right, but that’s all we could do. “

“It’s not my ideal to be a 38-year-old mother who now needs an oxygen tank to survive. I want to be strong and beautiful for her. I want to show her how to move around this world with compassion, strength, cheerfulness, humor and joy. as my mother showed me, ”Schulenburg described. “I know that being here for her is the best gift I can give her, but now I feel like it doesn’t matter, because she’s getting a version of herself in the middle of nowhere.”

Her husband and their 2-year-old daughter Koda stayed in Schulenburg.
