Officers were called to a home in the 7300 block of Balfoure Circle just after 2 a.m. on Jan. 18 for a well-being check.

Arriving officers found Rajan Rajaram, 54, Santalatu Rajan, 51, and Anish Rajan Rajaram, 19, inside the home.

Police are investigating their deaths as a murder-suicide, but have not released additional details about the shooting. All family members died from gunshot wounds and had been dead for several days, police said.

An autopsy report revealed that Rajan died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and had no drugs in his system at the time of the incident.

The autopsy reports of Santalata Rajan and Anish Rajan Rajaram have not been released.

Anish was a student at the University of Miami and a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was remember his friends as the “glue” that held everyone together. Those close to him say he had a love of adventure and life.
