The FAA is working to determine why a key safety system that sends warnings to pilots malfunctioned Wednesday morning, causing a ground shutdown that canceled and delayed thousands of flights across the country. Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg said his department was also looking into how the failure occurred. This is reported by Chris Van Cleave.
