Health gap

The Cincinnati Department of Health conducted various health reviews during the exhibition.

Closing the Health Gap, a nonprofit organization in Cincinnati working to allow families to take control of their health, held its 18th annual health exhibition on April 30, returning to a live personal format at downtown Washington Park Cincinnati. and has included more than 20 free health reviews in partnership with leading health care providers UC Health, Cincinnati Children’s, TriHealth, Mercy Health and the Ohio Department of Health. Screenings will include blood pressure, glucose levels, body mass index (BMI), mammography, certain cancers, and testing of hearing, vision, and speech for children. The event will also feature fitness demonstrations, live entertainment programs, booths for participants, a children’s pavilion and more. More than 10,000 participants were expected. Since the first health exhibition in 2004, more than 125,000 people have attended the annual event, and nearly 40,000 residents have undergone health screenings.

The endovascular center conducted free circulation reviews during the Health Gap Expo.
