As the PGA Tour gets underway, the upstart LIV Golf League is hosting its own tournament in Oklahoma. The league uses money from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund to capture some of the world’s best players, and critics worry that the league offers a degree of legitimacy to the country and its dismal human rights record.
