OTTAWA – Taco Bell plans to build a new store on the site of the former Red Pig Inn property. Michigan-based Black River Bells, LLC officially announced Tuesday that it will open a new 1,700-square-foot Taco Bell restaurant and driveway at 1,470 N. Perry St., Ottawa.
The Red Pig Inn restaurant will be demolished to make room for the new store. Black River Bells spokesman Clint Leiders said the opening of the new store will take place on October 21, 2022, and the new store is expected to open in March 2023. Once the new venue opens, Taco Bell will no longer maintain its store on East Main Street inside the Ottawa Party Mart. .
The project was managed by national brokers and lawyers, and local developers were not involved. The Ottawa Village Planning Commission at its May 20 meeting approved the Taco Bell Plan.
