California’s deadly storms continued to take their toll on Wednesday, as officials urged Monterey County residents to evacuate and members of the California National Guard joined another day of searching for a missing 5-year-old boy swept away by flooding Monday. Meanwhile, tornadoes left a devastating trail in the Southeast. Mark Strassman and Carter Evans have the latter.
