SAN ANTONIA – Several victims in Mass shooting Tuesday Uwalde Primary School continues to fight injuries in medical facilities, and at least two blood donations have been announced for community members wishing to donate.

The University Health System, based in San Antonio, says donor numbers are available for the next few days. More information can be found here.

The region’s main blood bank, the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center, also organized a blood action on Wednesday at Uwalde Herbie Ham’s activity center (248 FM Road 3447). Activities are welcome, STBTC says, and interested donors can also make an appointment in advance here.

According to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, the shooting killed at least 15 people, including 14 children and one teacher. Authorities at Uvalde Consolidated ISD said the suspect, an 18-year-old man, also died.
