Vivo is bringing another device to the mainstream folding arena with the new X Fold+ model, which is the successor to the X Fold that was launched earlier. Vivo is powering its new foldable device with the latest flagship Snapdragon chip, increasing the battery size and increasing the charging speed. The sophisticated technology remains the same and Vivo continues to use Zeiss Optics to optimize the camera.

Vivo X Fold+ price

The Vivo X Fold+ will be available in China and the base variant is priced at CNY 10,000 (roughly Rs. 113,700), which gets you 12GB + 256GB of storage. The higher-end 12GB + 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 11,000 (roughly Rs. 1,25,000). Vivo will start selling the X Fold+ on September 29 in the region.

Specifications of Vivo X Fold+

The Vivo X Fold+ gets the same set of displays on the outside and inside. You have a 6.53-inch cover with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The internal screen is 8 inches with an LTPO panel that switches the screen refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz depending on what you’re doing on the screen. Both displays received an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Vivo’s hinged mechanism allows you to use the device in three modes.

As we mentioned earlier, Vivo uses a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with 12GB of RAM to power this sophisticated device. It has 256GB and 512GB as storage options. The battery size has increased to 4,730mAh, which now supports 80W wired charging. It also comes with 50W wireless charging support.

The rear camera has four sensors that include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel periscope with OIS.

We haven’t seen Vivo bring its foldable to global markets, and we’re hoping the X Fold+ will launch in China this year.
