Several agencies responded and are conducting a search, according to the man in the detention center.

STRYKER, Ohio – Several emergency crews responded Northwest Ohio Juvenile Training and Rehabilitation Center in Williams County on Sunday night.

The Stryker Police Department and Brian Fire confirm they responded to the facility at County Rd. 24/25 around 20:30

A man in the detention center told WTOL 11 that officials were passing by the location.

It is unclear what they are looking for.

WTOL 11 also learned that there were no detainees in the building.

The Northwest Ohio Juvenile Detention Center “provides safe and secure accommodation for young people held in custody in accordance with a court order or in accordance with arrest laws,” their website said.
